Inline Fencing began the way most good trade businesses do — with more work than hands to do it. Based at 14 Doggetts Way in St Albans, we've spent the last fifteen-plus years installing, repairing and maintaining fencing across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire: garden boundaries, paddock fencing, commercial site hoarding, the lot.

Learning Which Tools Earn Their Place

Doing that many jobs means you go through a lot of tools, and you find out fast which ones are worth keeping in the van and which ones get left at the tip after one use. A post puller that seizes halfway through a job costs you an afternoon. A come along that slips under load costs you a repeat visit. Over the years we built up a shortlist of kit that just works — and started fielding enough questions from other fencers and DIY customers about where to buy it that opening a shop made obvious sense.

From Van Kit to Online Shop

That's what Inline Fencing's online store is: the practical end of a working contracting business. We still take on installation and repair jobs across our service area. Alongside that, we now sell the post pullers, cast jacks, come alongs and post hole diggers we rely on ourselves, at prices that don't carry a big-shed markup.
